Project Highlights
This year’s cornerstone projects pushed the boundaries of sustainability and cultural preservation, and we are proud to have had the chance to be part of the change:
- Interreg Danube TexDan Project: Fostering circular economy practices in the textile and fashion (T&F) sector across the Danube region. By piloting solutions in bioeconomy clothing, circular design, cleaner production processes, and recycling, TexDan paves the way for policy improvements and industry-wide green transformations.
CraftIT4SD Project: Revitalizing cultural and creative sectors through immersive media and digital innovation. CraftIT4SD reimagines traditional craftsmanship, encouraging sustainable business models, climate-friendly strategies, and more conscious consumer choices—vital steps toward meeting 2030 sustainability goals.
Empowering Through Events & Workshops
Our events this year bridged generations, disciplines, skills, and trends across industries setting the stage for future innovators:
- Entrepreneurship & Intrapreneurship Workshop (24 Oct. 2023): Equipped students and young professionals with insights on evolving business models, fostering tomorrow’s leaders in innovation.
- Challenges and Gaps in the Fashion Industry (8 Jan. 2024): Offered students a deep dive into industry challenges, trends, and solutions, preparing them for careers in an ever-changing T&F sector.
- Threads of Tomorrow Networking Event (5 Apr. 2024): Brought companies and creatives together, spotlighting initiatives that are reshaping the future of sustainable fashion.
- Reawakening Style Workshop (22 May 2024): Focused on sustainable fashion and circular business models, providing practical tools and best practices for a more responsible industry.

As we move into the coming year, we’re excited to expand our efforts:
- Launching new projects that will focus on the development of innovative training materials to increase the capacity of textile professionals in developing efficient anti-counterfeit strategies, accompanied by recognition systems.
- Offering new workshops and toolkits focused on hands-on, sustainable skill-building and innovation in the TCLF industry.
- Deepening global collaborations, sharing insights and research that can shape the TCLF industry.

Through their initiatives, they’ve shown how community support and empathy can make a tangible difference in people’s lives.
