In Santiago de Compostella, 11 semi-finalist companies benefited from two days of coaching sessions and business mentoring from the designated design experts and development agencies from the 6 partner countries.
The winning companies including Katty Fashion have thus started the Acceleration Program for innovative solutions for the circular economy, which will last for 9 months and will include:
- the assistance of a coaching expert and #designthinking to identify the optimal circular solutions
- an innovation voucher of 60,000 euros to benefit from expertise from technology providers suited to the solution
- business mentoring services from consortium partner organizations
facilitating access to additional funds on the investment market, for the further
development of the solution and for scalability
The vouchers scheme was addressed to small and medium-sized enterprises in the European Union in the processing, agro-food, textile, health and water industries and will be resumed in the autumn of this year to identify 6 other companies to implement circular economy solutions.
