Reginnova NE invites micro, small and medium-sized enterprises from Romania’s textile and fashion sector to apply for the TEX-DAN Made in Danube certification. This regional label recognises SMEs already implementing circular solutions, strengthening local value chains and reducing transport intensity.

This open call is part of the TEX-DAN project and supports companies that are helping build a more sustainable, transparent and competitive textile ecosystem across the Danube Region.

Announcement of results: 30 June 2026

The call is open to SMEs, including micro-enterprises, start-ups, social enterprises and private entrepreneurs, legally established in countries participating in the Interreg Danube Region Programme and active in textile or fashion value chains. Eligible activities include:

fibre and material production
textile, leather and accessories manufacturing
garment design and production
repair, reuse and remanufacturing services
circular logistics or support services
innovative textile-related service models

Public authorities, large enterprises and purely research-focused organisations are not eligible.

ASSESSMENT

What will be assessed?

Applications will be evaluated based on concrete achievements already implemented in four key areas:

1. strengthening regional value chains and reducing transport distances
2. circular product or service performance
3. responsible and fair production practices
4. transparency, collaboration and ecosystem engagement

Applicants should briefly describe their existing circular practices, sustainability results and contribution to the regional textile value chain. Supporting materials may be included, but they are not mandatory.

>> receive a promotional videoclip/podcast focusing on the circular achievement of the successful applicant, promoted through the TEX-DAN communication channels and also available for free use to the Grand Prize winner.

Applications must be submitted through the online application form. The form is available in English, but Romanian applicants may complete their answers in Romanian.
